　シナイ山はエジプト領のシナイ半島にあり、標高2285m。モーセが神から十戒を授かったとされる場所で、ユダヤ教、キリスト教、イスラム教の聖地。ラクダでも登れるゆるやかな登山コース（最後に階段８００段弱）と、階段のみ３７５０段の２コースがある。
